Evidence basis
Manufacturer-document comparison framework. No physical sensor has been tested for this guide.
Selection criteria
1. Define expected acceleration and useful frequency range before selecting a sensor.
2. Compare noise, sampling and filtering together; do not choose by resolution alone.
3. Verify mounting, breakout-board supply requirements and interface compatibility.
| Reference option | Documented information | Verify before choosing |

| ADXL355 reference example | Analog Devices documents digital SPI/I²C output, a 20-bit ADC and selectable ±2 g, ±4 g and ±8 g ranges. | A component specification does not establish the accuracy or bandwidth of an entire mounted sensor system. |
